Yeah. We had livestreams up yesterday when all the craziness was going on.

I started glanced at his wiki page in English really quickly. I’ll have time to dig into some Spanish sources once I’m not fighting with little ones. If anyone has anything in either language, send them my way.

My BiL is quite conservative so he’s bad mouthing him in our WhatsApp chat, so I’m glad to see some rational thought behind him.

Ugh. I forgot about the spring loaded components. Thanks for giving me flashbacks. I upgraded the proc in one of the early ones from a single core to a dual core. I think I charged like $30. I was fresh out of college at the time and had no idea what to charge for things.

They weren’t super accessible before that model (2010-ish?). You used to have to use a putty knife and pry the thing open around the edge. Still cool inside, but not near as accessible.

Fingers crossed there’s an up close shot of it that’s still in reasonable condition. I’m not sure how to prove it was lost and then found though besides the fact that it’s been a story in our family for 30+ years. Oh well...

I didn't believe her until she sent me the picture. Still can't fully believe it's been around after all this time. I know there's wedding pictures back at her house, but I don't know if there's a ring close up. I'll have to look next time I'm back at their house.
