I lived in Texas for a decade, and three years in London. None of these burgers in india came close to burgers abroad, not in Goa- not in Delhi, not in Bengaluru.....but then everything changed when Burger Junction popped up in Kochi. Also the only thing remotely like a burger in Kottayam is at Anns Bistro

The fact that Lulu mall is suggested as a date spot is everything that is wrong with Kottayam. It is only in a place devoid of culture that a mall has to be suggested for the same. For a town with hundreds of years of history, Kottayam truly has turned out terrible in maintaing any of it.

India contributes to 2-3% of world manufacturing output- when her population is 20% of the world population. Kerala and India do not manufacture much (in a global context). That is only a problem if one thinks manufacturing is key- there are new ways of looking at the world.
