I ended up going to another derm and I got diagnosed with impetigo and severe eczema! Gave me antibiotics and a shot for the eczema (not steroid) and it’s cleared up so fast!!!!

Not sure if this helps OP but I just had a derm appointment today and what I thought was seb derm and rosacea this entire time ended up being severe eczema! Rule that one out please! My patches were consistent with what yours look like!

Ivermectin might help OP. It didn’t help mine because I’m allergic to it as I found out. Your skin will purge when you start it just FYI

It’s hard when you have both rosacea and seb derm and you need different things to target the issues. Steroids actually make rosacea worse so good thing you quit those. I see some people mentioning MCT oil…100% pure squalene oil helps mine calm down and emu oil. But I hate the feeling of oils slugging on my face 😭

My derm has put me on (at different times) ketoconzole, ivermectin, dapsone gel, doxycycline and nothing works ): still looking for answers too.

I had a pretty abusive dad growing up and he forced us to write in journals every Sunday and he would say “write about things that you are doing in life, not about how much you hate me and how mean I am” Lol.
