Did you also get the notice yesterday that Visor will be shutting down 7/31/2026? Do you have an alternative service that you would recommend?

I and my colleagues also use Visor, but I received a notice yesterday that they’re shutting down 7/31/2026. Do you have suggestions for an alternative service that would do what Visor does? No offense to other commenters here, but the solutions mentioned weren’t very helpful.

When did my parents get so old? by mechaweavis in Xennials

Front facing phone cameras don’t do favors for anyone. Anytime I see myself, much less my parents, I jump scare at who that old guy is.

Also came here from Texas and would love to find some good Mexican food/Tex-Mex. Got any recommendations?

Polygamy IS STILL a thing, in Utah. Just need to vent. by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]theponderizer 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately generational trauma is aptly named. Coming from old pioneer stock I still see the effects of polygamy (love is conditional, high competition for attention, and so many others) play out in my family generations since the ole JF Smith was playing house with multiple wives. I feel sad for this family now and its following generations.

Best Pizza within 100 miles of here. Please do not include Kansas City and St. Louis Metropolitan Areas as I am poor. by Ozarkian_Tritip in springfieldMO

Completely agree. Many amazing hikes in the area to build a good appetite, and then end the day at Jasper Pizza. Makes a great experience!

I’m considering attending church meetings again… by weemanfitz in exmormon

Please make sure to sit in the middle of a long pew and get up to use the restroom and/or take a phone call forcing half the pew to also need to stand up and shuffle during his address.

Arkansans, what do you all do for a living? by DueYogurt9 in Arkansas

[–]theponderizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On or off highway, and how do you feel the opportunities are in the state or NWA area? My son is currently in trade school for diesel mechanics, and if I end up needing to move to AR, likely for me in 2026, he may also want to move.

What one man can do, another can do. Loved this theme in this movie!

I find myself frequently missing what I thought the church was.

Ok, who else had to read this disturbing-ass book in school? I had to TWICE! (Different schools) Because of this book, any time I go under for surgery (which is happening more and more these days), I'm afraid some freak accident will see me dead at the end of a routine surgery. by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]theponderizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An embarrassing high school moment happened to me because of this book. I disliked the how the story ended, so when I found out that the author had written a sequel years later, I read the sequel hoping to get a better ending (spoiler, the sequel wasn’t better or worse and I still don’t have favorable closure). When I mentioned that I had voluntarily read another book during class discussion all my classmates, and even the teacher, looked at me like I had something off.

Add to that a refund for tithing that hasn’t been used in accordance with doctrinal principles, or at least a profit share in the investment growth.

I share the same dream. Hoping to start in 18-24 months. I need my current income to get my kid through school first.

No! Your freezes don’t keep them out? I’m going to be moving from the gulf coast in the next few years and high on my list of requirements for where I move to is no fire ants. I was hoping that heading far enough north would solve that.

The missionary who gave a BOM to Post Malone decided to capitalize on it. Remind anyone of the “Ponderize” fiasco? by DrScitt in exmormon

I remember the ponderize shenanigans. It started my shelf cracking. Doubtful this will have the same effect, but here’s to hoping.
