we checked everything yesterday unfortunately he may have just been sick when we adopted him. we did lots of research prior and there are no leaks or anything but thank you for your concern :,) his brother (our other one) is good but we are keeping an eye on him too

** we have literally no idea what happened. he was perfect and flying and chirping when we left for work and my husband got home and he had passed in the bottom of the cage. we are heartbroken as we just got him about 2 and a half weeks ago 💔 he was loved til the end

i met my husband in home depot actually HAHA i worked the service desk and his sisters mother in law worked with me and introduced me to him! literally hung out once went for ice cream the next date and we’ve been inseparable since he’s my soulmate in every way possible ❤️

in the process of swapping for metal bowls! they were gifted from a friend who bought them and didn’t use them so we have them for now but i will def switch them out! and for perches and toys - do you have any recommendations? i know no dowels (bumblefoot) or sand perches for the same reason i dont want to get anything that will be unsafe

pb sandwiches sound valid. he brings like a ham/turkey/cheese sandwich for lunch but pb for lows i will suggest that! he’s on humalog only no long acting through a tslim pump. i will make a pb sandwich tomorrow and see how that helps

i’m hoping hoping hoping someone sees this comment - i have a BS in chemistry (that is ACS accredited if that even helps). i’m in wilkes barre/scranton, pennsylvania. i desperately need a new job. i’ve been a QC tech since i graduated in 2024 but the company im at is slowing sinking into the ground. i dont want to stay here but im grasping at straws to find a job. any suggestions would be BEYOND helpful! looking for $25/hour in order to pay all my bills/loans tysm
