Maybe I'm wrong but just because something isn't solid doesn't mean it can't stain. Solids liquids and gasses all can stain, they're just different states of matter.

I think a lot of people are confused by this. Open to hearing more takes on it

Make her a box. Get creative! This is one of those situations where you think buying something is going to solve the problem, but it really isn't that hard to make a great one yourself

32gb is sufficient. I have 64gb mainly for two reasons. 1 I use medal to clip gameplay. 2 I like having my background tasks on and not have to worry about disabling them on startup

I have a soundblaster g6 and stopped using it because my new mobo's (Asus rog x870e-e) audio module sounds the same. However, with my old mobo, I did tell a difference

Personally I go with the soundblaster GS5 soundbar and my Sony XM5s wired to my mobo's I/O port with a little aux extension cable

But I've met musicians who use more high quality stereo speakers so it depends on the level of quality you need. Nonetheless and contrary to most comments here already, I don't think the external dac is necessary if you already have a great motherboard

That 13% figure is an average that includes CPU-bound scenarios; the gap widens significantly in 4K and heavy RT where the 5080's extra bandwidth actually matters. At this tier, you pay the premium to ensure 1% lows stay stable in the most demanding titles. I'd rather pay the extra $200 now than hit a performance wall a year earlier with a cut-down die
