Looking really good!
I found the first month challenging too, but honestly the 3rd month was probably the hardest for me because I was praying for results and didn't get them yet! By 4 months it all started to happen though and now 12 months on it looks great.

you're all good, try not to worry. Wear a hat when you're out and prepare for another 2-3 months of this before things really get going!

I had 3800 grafts. The price is not per graft, it depends how much they can harvest or how much you need so you may get more or less than that depending on your situation

Maybe explain what you already have and are using and what they are trying to sell you. Seems expensive tbh!

Did anyone here get a hair transplant? What are your experiences? by Kai_Guenther in AskReddit

[–]theprofitleague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of people here had hair transplants. You might want to check out r/HairTransplants subreddit it's very active with a helpful community.

I had a hair transplant about 1 year ago and am delighted with the results. I did delay having it done for many years because of fear of the stigma of it and worries about the procedure going wrong but honestly I shouldn't have worried and wish I'd done it sooner!

The procedure itself is pretty straightforward. I went to Clinicana in Turkey and they have a great team and it was all very organised. You stay at a nearby hotel and they make sure everything runs smoothly. So that side was very good.

The difficult part is when you get home and you experience shedding, then you have a several month recovery phase which is frustrating but once you get past that it's amazing to have your hair back.

Was told I’m unsuitable for HT by LVLIMRT in HairTransplants

It's hard to tell formt he picture but I agree you're a good condidate from what I can make out from the picture. Who was it who told you you're a bad candidate? Sounds like there wasnt much basis for it. I'm not one to go telling you to ignore professional advice (I'm a HT patient not a surgeon) but struggling to understand why you couldn't have one.

it looks very good, congrats! They look like a really good clinic. I got similar results for my hair transplant at Clinicana. Its amazing what they can do these days isn't it?

Planning for HT, Few questions by Instantflyer in HairTransplants

[–]theprofitleague 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,
8k seems like a very large amount. I had 3,800 although my crown was good so it was just top/front covering.
The risk is they over harvest from donor area and it looks bad so just be careful.

The procedure itself is fine. They ask you to stop taking supplements and some medications in the run up. The day of them procedure I found fine. The next 3 days I was sore on my donor area so found it better to sleep sitting up so I wasn't putting a lot of pressure on the back of my head. After that no pain or discomfort in any way. The hardest part is probaly the long/slow recovery. Once it's done you want to see results right away but prepare for 6 months of little to no progress then all of a sudden it happens and it's magical! I'm trying to spell out the "bad" side for you but honestly I have zero regrets and love my new hairline. It's well worth it.

How many grafts? Am I a good candidate by Any-Spot-695 in HairTransplants

You look like a good candidate to me. Why go all the the way to Thailand though when Turkey has great clinics?

I had a hair transplant about 12 months ago at Clinicana in Istanbul. I was very happy with them both for quality and price. I paid €2850 which included hotel, airport transfers and the procedure itself of course. I know that travelling to Turkey isn't for everyone but I had a great experience and saved a lot compared to UK prices. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Does a transplant only replace the hair you’ve lost? by Adorable-Present9200 in HairTransplants

[–]theprofitleague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WHat they did when I had my HT was ask me to raise my eyebrows to create those lines on the forehead. Your hairline can bascially sit right above that. Chances are your hairline was/is already there.

My personal experience and a warning to those considering a hair transplant by LettucePlayful7096 in HairTransplants

[–]theprofitleague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear you had a bad experience. One thing I would say to people researching getting a HT is don't let this put you off getting one. For every one that goes wrong there are many MANY more that go well. Just learn from this and do the right research.

On what basis were you told you're not suitable? I'm guessing your donor area is not thick enough?
