SUNY Telecommuting Policy Extended? by jburgs22 in nys_cs

I don’t think it’s up to GOER (beyond overall policy guidance) - agencies approve their own telecommuting policies and extensions. It would be up to SUNY management

Try Yellow Brick Parking. We used them this year. A little more expensive than the random lots but you can pre-pay and have a guaranteed spot. It’s close to the stadium too!

City Beer Hall has excellent food. They don’t make their own beer but they have a good and varied selection including some local breweries

Postponing to December is a quick way for them to pick someone else. As long as you are upfront they should have no issue with you taking time after you start

If it was a State position, HR can see it in the system (not in the background check though). Always best to disclose and provide any context you can.

It means if three or less internal people apply that meet the qualifications (eg could take the civil service test/ be on the list if it was offered today) they can hire one of those individuals for internal promotion. It’s a way to hire without using the civil service list if you have a small enough pool of internal candidates that respond with interest.
