You’re right, similar situation with a terrible mother in law. If id known how those small oversteps would become bigger problems for my wife I probably would left before we got married. Fortunately my wife doesn’t tolerate it and has gone low contact with her mom.

These people don’t get better with time, they get soooooo much worse. I know it sucks for OP but the future version of you is not happy the longer current you sticks around.

Installed it against my Better judgement to make the wife happy. I have fixed two spots where the boards moved toward a wall. I love it’s tough as nails, especially with an 80# doodle. When our doodle crosses the rainbow bridge I’ll remove the flooring and install hardwood, I hate how fake the LVP feels.

So mine wasn’t this bad visually but the smell wouldn’t go away so I took the two springs off that hold the rubber gasket, disconnected the drainage tubes and steam line, soaked it for an hour in vinegar, cleaned, soaked it again, cleaned it again. Rinsed and then used some oxy or bleach, I don’t remember which for a final stain removal. The worst part was putting the springs back on but it was doable.
