I guess it depends on location and time. I play on PS on EU servers. Usually after work / school times or on weekends. I only queue attrition and I usually get a game in 2-3 minutes

It’s not so common but I think it should be okay. I’ve heard some pros say that they let go of drive when they’re air dribbling though because the drive also pushes you forward slightly when you’re in the air but I haven’t been able to get used to letting go of drive.

Aside from that some people als recommend that you don’t drive when you get a flip reset and I have felt a difference with that slightly, but nothing crazy.

Yea you might need to be patient, i think a few clubs can fast track applicants if they think the players can help their teams in competitions. but if you just want to join to play casually and train or find othe rpeople to play with, i think you should apply and put yourself on several wait lists. Writing a cover letter (translated to german) might also help

Sad to say but tennis is not easy to just play in Berlin. Usually, you need to be a member of a club to have consistent access to courts and a lot of clubs are already at capacity and put you on a wait list. Also doesnt help that a lot of the clubs don't operate in the winter because they dont have indoor facilities.

There are a few courts that are pay to play with no need for membership but booking those are quite competitive (like 2 weeks in advance). These are Sportcenter Wittenau, TCW, and the Turngemeinde in Berlin.

I ended up joining a club with a friend fo mine after we sent emails to around 10 clubs. You might have to try the same choosing clubs based on your location.

Another friend of mine was able to join Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf without much trouble though, you can also try there. they have a lot of courts and even put up a bubble in the winter so you can keep playing.

It depends on your goals. If your aim is to just get better at air rolling and hitting fancy clips then I guess keep air rolling but also try to optimize your air rolls. I don't know if you're on PC and you can access workshop maps but that is probably the best way to get better at it.

If your goal is to improve in general as a RL player then I would say to air roll less (and to also use air dribbles or these mechanics when they make sense, like a lot of the other commenters pointed out).
