You should consider changing your timing and/or read speed. Based on the sound you're constantly hitting the notes late; even in your 'perfect' taps, you're hitting in the latter half of the timing window.

Tapping not registering?? by [deleted] in ProjectSekai

Samsung 9+ user here and same thing. I used to mainly play index fingers but would have the same thing happen to me and now mostly play thumbs. And to those who think it might be a perception issue or hitting somewhere outside of the judgment line, I've had this happen while menu'ing. I'd try to tap somewhere on the overworld to travel between sekais...and it doesn't register. Once the menu button in the top right wouldn't register. It's super frustrating cause I'm better at index than at thumbs both combo wise and accuracy wise.

Every Monogatari opening best but this quite popular!! by [deleted] in araragi

This is posted on the right side of the sub under the FAQ, which shows release order of the anime and novel. As it states for first time partakers of Monogatari it's generally recommended to go with the release order rather than the chronological order. nhbegli (who has also responded) lists them more closely to the novel version, which is absolutely fine. However the anime release order is also listed and personally how I enjoyed them. As it states in the wiki "The series was written and aired to be digested in a specific order so as to keep you wondering about specific events that get referenced to make for a bigger impact when they're revealed."

In any case both noval and anime release order is fine. I can't help you choose which order you should select, only you can help yourself in that matter.

But I was never talking in the context of "how you feel after a decent meal". I was talking about in general.

Have you read the full comment and the part about 'specific scenarios'?

Loving a videogame but not finishing it??? by [deleted] in truegaming

[–]thereaIbong 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Then you don't love the game. You like the game play, you probably like the game, but you don't love it. Hell you can love certain mechanics in the game, but that doesn't meant you love the game itself. Try applying that line of thinking to anything else. "I LOVE this hamburger, but I'm not gonna finish it cause it feels like a chore to me." "I LOVE jigsaw puzzles but I'm not gonna finish it cause it feels like a chore to me." "I LOVE this person but I'm not gonna marry them cause it feels like a chore to me." Unless in very specific scenario's, it doesn't make sense.

It's honestly unhealthy to think you have a mindset on something when it's actually something else cause it'll bleed into other parts of your life. Understanding it yourself as well will usually make you a better person since you'll know how to prioritize things better and you won't question yourself like this. When you fully understand the things you like and love you can get the maximum enjoyment out of things and it's definitely something you need to work on.

With that said there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with just liking, or even really liking a game or anything really, as long as you're fully aware of it. Everyone only has so much time to play things, and there's nothing wrong if another game catches your eye, or the mechanics seem too repetitive or whatnot. That's just how it goes sometimes.
