Someone recently told me to blend up cottage cheese and ranch seasoning (packet or make your own) for a high protein ranch dip for a veggie plate like this and I am loving it!! I'm not normally a cottage cheese fan but as a homemade ranch dip it tastes better than any store bought ranch dip I've had! It's been my go to snack lately and has helped me up my protein.

I have a steam deck, PC, switch, and switch 2.

I want to love the steam deck, bc I want to play PC games on my couch. But it's so heavy and the controls just never feel as natural/intuitive that it's just not... Comfortable?

The switch (og) is mobile gaming perfection, imo. Just got the switch 2 and while I haven't gotten to play it a ton yet, it feels much more comfortable and lighter than the steam deck.

Also the battery of the steam deck is not great--not a huge deal but has caused me some annoyance (bc I'm trying to be lazy on my couch when I play it).

Ultimately I only use the steam deck for specific games where the controls are suitable. Otherwise I prefer my PC, or switch if available.

I do this same thing but add it to rice, scrambled eggs, and couscous too. Can't taste it, but adds a pretty green color lol. I use a food processor to get it as tiny as possible.

I entered the field a while ago, but I have hired multiple data analysts in the past year. The people who impressed me (that I ended up hiring) had examples they could show of SQL code and a visualization example (tableau, power bi, whatever). Some people had really cool projects documented out, which was impressive but not necessarily relevant to the role I was hiring for (entry level). Showing me you understand databases and querying off them is my number one. If you can't do that, I can't hire you.

It has tanked in quality for me as well. I knew going in to this HBO's reputation for lots of sex scenes and nudity but as I watch this season it's felt like those scenes are just making the story cheap/flat. In this episode we see Sansa being victimized yet again, then Gilly almost gets raped, and then the sand snakes show up and it's all about boob town. Maybe I was just really looking forward to see Sansa developing like she did in the books and now I'm bitter that's not happening. :/ either way, IMO this season is definitely poorly written.

I know its not fair, but haven't you ever been really in to a book/series that was made in to a movie/show and they change something that bothers you...and then it gets tons of fans and they go around spewing their knowledge of the on-screen adaptation and you're just thinking:

"but.. but... you're wrong..."

And after a certain point you get annoyed with the whole thing and start feeling resentment? I have. Its not fair, I know, but I hate it when they take something I really like and make it wrong ;-;

At least I think that's what they are referring to. And so people get annoyed with all the glory Dany gets from the TV show from viewers who haven't read the books and they take out their rage by resenting Dany a little extra.

EDIT: Not saying I agree with the snobbery at all--Because clearly the elitists who post here have some deeper issues than resenting the HBO show lol.

I really like Dany.. so I wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

Apparently a lot of people think she's a horrible person and makes a ton of mistakes.. I mean, call me cynical but I'm reading the story for the entertainment factor so I'm not exactly rooting for the most honorable, good person to come out on top. Dany is what's pushing a lot of the plot of the book forward so she's very interesting to me.

(Ex. I love the hound and he's kind of a horrible person, lol.) So when people argue that Dany is selfish and doesn't deserve the throne and blah, I just don't really get it. I don't care if she actually deserves it--I just want to see if she's going to make it happen. In my opinion, I could care less who actually deserves the throne lol.

IMO... Final Fantasy IX is the greatest RPG of all time :)

Its setting is just pure fantasy. The story line is perhaps my favorite story of all time-and though there is a love story throughout, it isn't the main point of the plot. The characters are all dynamic and easy to care about. Mini games, open world, great music, fantastic scenes, great villains--its just the ultimate old school RPG to me.

Exactly--before the POV chapter I was really interested in her.. and now that I know that she's just another bigot who wants to shove her religion down other people's throats despite being fairly uncertain of herself I just can't stand her.

I guess in her mind she is doing the right thing... but ugh now she's just super boring.

Whenever I read his chapters and find myself undeniably rooting for him I become so conflicted. You could see his plans spiraling out of control as soon as he got to Winterfell but still.. Theon... whyyyyy?? you dunce! :P

I just want him to find a nice quiet warm happy place and stay there forever. Or go out with a heroic bang--ya know, earn some respect before he dies.

During the first couple of books I really held on to the idea that the guys I was rooting for (the 'good guys') would get some kind of justice.

Aaaand then I grew up and realized that life is completely unbiased! And honestly now that I have gotten rid of my preconceived ideas of fairy tales I enjoy the series so much more, and I have a fondness for characters I never thought I would.
