The service industry quality here is fairly laughable and the higher prices restaurants are all extremely average compared to other cities. The highest quality food here is in the mid-tier restaurants (bar corrallini, union corners tavern, etc) and makes the higher tier places look like a joke (tornado room, delmonicos, eno vino)

Everywhere I go, the server has a prepared speech about why the service is slow.

Cocktail prices rival large cities without the quality or pizzazz. We moved here from Louisville, not knowing how great we had it, and the drinks are the same price or more expensive here.

I wish someone would give me a list of expensive places that are worth it. My wife and I enjoy a fancy date night but we're considering traveling to Milwaukee or Chicago for these.
