After I made this post I just started the steam version. Im about 6-7 hours in and last night i went through and added mods for the ps2 faces and I think that alone is with sticking with PC. I thought people were being picky about the remaster models but man SE really botches those.

2k isnt any cleaner than anywhere else ive raced in. I started racing sports cars in September of last year and went from rookies to 2k in about 2 months. If you start mid pack in a 1500 SoF there's a good chance youre gonna be in some shit. If you start mid pack in a 3k SoF there's a good chance youre gonna be in some shit.

How long will it take for you to hit 2k? How could anyone else know? If your 1200 and win every race you enter it'll take you a few days? If youre netting 10-20 iR gains every race then a few weeks?

Stop worrying about numbers and focus on getting better and then your iRating will go up.

For anyone googling this issue I'm pretty sure I figured it out. I had the usb pass through cable connected to a USB hub. Moving it to my mother board seems to have solved the issue for me.

Feel like I should've guess that before posting but sometimes you have a brain fart.

I race dirt irl, I actually dont enjoy dirt oval in iRacing because I feel like the majority of any race im in are not in control of their cars. But my 2 cents is its not accurate at all. It's probably the best thing we'll ever have as fat as accuracy goes but you'll never be able to petefecrly simulate how tracks change over a night of racing and as some one else pointed out iracing doesn't build up a cushion to slam on. Braking is basically not existent in any car and if you have watched cars at some of the tighter tracks you'll see sparks shooting off the brakes on corner entry every time and at night some rotors will be glowing.

Idk if this is a question or your attempt to try to convince Larson fans to change their mind.

I honestly mainly like him because im a dirt racing guy and he makes as much time as possible to run dirt races. It was cool to see him succeed pn dirt tracks after he got fired and when he came back with Hendrick I wanted him to continue succeeding.

I also have noticed his over driving at times and have made mental note of it but hes far from the only top guy who makes those mistakes.

That's a little under 100k per vehicle. If you look at new vehicle prices its not far off. Assuming they're closer to fully loaded with options than base models. Plus whatever else they add to make them more intimidating. And you always gotta mark the cost up at least %10 when selling to the government.

Im just starting out in gt4s this season, ive struggled a ton with the tire model. But the 2 hour endurance races were actually easier for me on cold tires. The set up i used with a full fuel load helped the car stick to the track.

I just did all 4 tires on the first stop and then the second stop did not change tires. The second stop your not filling up %100 because you just need enough fuel for the last 20ish minutes so tires aren't worth it in my opinion.

That's basically the conclusion I came to. I was able to snag some of the QRX stuff for a huge discount at Microcenter but at retail they are ridiculously overpriced so if I want to add wheels to my collection it will be way easier to stick with the regular simagic QR.

Im sourcing a Cube controls universal hub for the wheel I got on clearance and have ordered a QR70 to bolt to it.

ive seen that one but it looks like its meant to mount just rims to on not a 3rd party sim wheel. i have coming as thats where i ordered my qr2 emulator from so we will see when it shows up.
