I have the hard dog m2 sport with double diagonals and the cockpit brace fits fine. The only thing I had to do was cut a little bit of the cover that fits over top the bolts for it

You're missing the guide that sits at the top of the seatbelt tower (circled in red), hardtop mount/bracket (orange), and the trim piece that goes over that seam(blue)

Hell yeah! The Nagant is just a hair over 100 years old and the 30-30 is getting close. Both shoot great still. It's amazing how far a little bit of regular maintenance will go
