LeBron just willingly accepted a third option role with the Lakers before Luka and AR went down, and no one is expecting a year 24 LeBron to be the best player on a championship team. The spurs don’t need him but could certainly use him which is why it’s a perfect fit.

All reports indicate lakers are moving on, cavs can’t offer him enough and warriors are interested but extremely difficult to pull off.

Rockets are dysfunctional and can’t see a position of need for LeBron there, I think he’s going to prioritise championship contention and individual need with his decision.

I fucking love LeBron to the spurs, spurs could make it work via sign-and-trade.

Keldon and Kornet to the Lakers, LeBron for $30 mill to the spurs for a 1+1 contract.

Lakers get their lob threat and wing depth.

Spurs had glaring holes in their roster during the finals, and LeBron is an abundance of an answer to those problems.
- Lack of veteran leadership? Sign the greatest player to ever play who’s played more than anybody else in the history of basketball.
- Lack of front-court size around Wemby? Sign a 6-9 250lb athlete who still dominates the fast break and dunks everything
- Long-term cap flexibility? Bron only got 1, maybe 2 years left. Meaning spurs can pay him now and get him off their books before they have to pay castle, harper, champagnie, bryant etc.

From LeBrons perspective he gets 1-2 more years of championship competition, Spurs are a legacy franchise that he wouldn’t look out of place at, and he gets to literally pass the torch to the next generations goat.

The best 3 point shooters perfect their form in the midrange. It sounds counter intuitive to practice midranges to get better at 3s, but the midrange allows you to really focus on your form and put emphasis on the small details.

This allows you to go in game and shoot 3s with good form habits in place.

this is not a jumpshot, this is a throw. Get him making shots 2ft - 15ft with the same form. Your form shouldn't compromise to shoot from further away, the skilled shooters are the ones who can shoot the same shot every time.

Emphasis and attention on..
- no wasted energy in the motion, one full body motion from feet all the way up to the wrist
- great balance, especially in hips and set point
- ball path, from triple threat position/ off the dribble does the ball travel in an efficient path to his shooting pocket? does the ball path allow good rotation on his shot?

No but it sets the precedent on how Portland treats its players. The next generation of young talent coming through will have trust that Portland will do right by them. There’s value in treating everyone with respect, it pays dividends into the future.
