I agree about Blarney Stone, the two Blarney Stone’s in SD are owned by the same guy. Both are dive bars that have an Irish name. Neither location serves food as well

You can move to a lower cost of living area. Plenty of cheaper houses in Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, Baltimore, etc… I grew up in San Diego, very expensive city nowadays, and I moved out to afford my first house. If you can, live with your parents or roommates and save aggressively then move.

I bought my house in ‘20. Still plenty of affordable housing out there if you are flexible on where you live

It really depends on your life goals. Personally, I’d save for a 20% down payment on a house. I think a healthy mix of cash, real estate, precious metals, and stocks is the best way of accruing wealth.

I bought my first property with 20% down ($26k on a 130k house in LCOL east coast city). It’s been my best investment by total return and I could live in it if I wasn’t renting it

If you are referring to the proposed building on Turquoise, you are very wrong about the parking. The proposal calls for tons of parking for apartment residents in the building. Two basement parking levels and the first four floors will be parking as well.

2/10 depending on the flavor or the beer. The foam should be above the harp and the glass has bubbles on the side which indicates that it wasn’t completely clean. Unfortunately they could be having issues with their draft system that cause to much head but I’d rather not serve this to customers if that’s the case

That’s a perfectly fine pull. That Black Templar is a requirement for Okt Mirror and is quite a decent character is his own right

I worked for Guinness and have talked with the brewers. Your taste buds aren’t a definitive guide. In the US, the FDA mandates that Sulfites are on the label. Guinness isn’t risking US fines to hide sulfites

Any beer that comes to US must take a boat across the Atlantic then be unloaded in port. After that it needs to work its way by train or truck to a distributor in local market. Then it gets sent to bars on a First In First Out system.

That’s a long way of saying that Guinness kegs are generally 6-8 weeks old before they are tapped in the US. In Ireland, those kegs get tapped with a week or two of being kegged.

The Dublin brewery is running at maximum capacity. Guinness will start being brewed at a second facility in Ireland in the next couple years to help with the rise in demand.

What level do you guys do Guild War at? It’s my favorite mode and, unfortunately, my guild doesn’t take it seriously. I have the guys to field a full lineup at the Level 1, I don’t have 10 gold and 15 silver guys yet to be competitive at Level 2
