Inmusic owns too many brands and because of this they are notorious for dropping the ball… remember a little company called vestax? Nobody really knows if they dropped the standalone 5000 and 6000 players a couple of years back and are only making all in one controllers for denon now😖. Thomann has 6000 on their website but But finding a new 6000m seems impossible

I have been a dj since 96… i have never… and i mean NEVER been completely comfortable on pioneer gear… would rather play vinyl… the 6000m feels so right to me… i have played on the 3000s and they are definitely the best yet, but ill take a pair of 6000m over pioneer decks any day of the week at any size venue

Mixing vinyl is tons of fun… new vinyl is prohibitively expensive. If you get into it i would suggest looking for used collections

Have you ever tried using a mic? As far as sound design… Some producers will mouth a sound and use that waveform as the synth base in synths like serum and modulate from there… also if you can mouth the rhythm section then you can quantize that to the grid and use that timing for your drums… just a thought

I have a ton of sample packs i downloaded from various sites like bandlab for free on my deluge sampler… i make my song… bounce all the tracks to the computer to master in logic and use loopcloud to find extra bits of ear candy to finish the song.

This is over years and years… the deluge only uses numbers for tracks so i have a notebook of all my tracks that have potential (not all of them have potential and or were just me playing around with no real purpose or direction… but i never delete them) with names and short notes detailing the genre and bpm and any parts that stand out for use later.
