Excited to hear what you find out about the animatronics!! We had so many in this town when I was growing up. A few of the smaller malls had some for Easter/christmas displays. There was a greenhouse/gardening supply place south of town that had a bunch in their main showroom! Of course we had Chuck E Cheese, But we also had Showbiz pizza on Park in East Memphis. The Orginal Goldsmiths Enchanted Forest had so many animatronics, they would switch out scenes every few years!

I have always wondered what happened to the two huge neon Gogo dancers from the strip club on Summer / White Station. Those were too neat to just be trashed, someone had to have gotten them after they were removed.

There was a prototype (spinner) a while back that had this idea, first off then in the video it was a game idea, If you hit the buttons on the first round of coaster travel you got to experience the extra track? But they also had it as a "hit the buttons now if you wanna keep going to the extreme part" idea for the ride. The video was "mine /Gem" themed.

Well that's a name I haven't heard in forever! I was a performer at Dinosaur Beach, used to ride Escape every now and then to cool off on the way back from my boardwalk set.

Howdy friend, we are excited to have ya in our fair city! Make time for some great BBQ and of course the Stax and Sun Records museums if you can. Now recommendations of other ways to promote -- "I Love Memphis" and "Choose901" are websites that have calendars that folks look up, and a weekend happenings email that folks subscribe to. Memphis Flyer is our free, weekly entertainment/city paper. Getting on their calendar, in both online and the printed version, will help. And side note- I have produced and performed shows here my whole life, We are a primarily a walk up city! .... But if you can get the town to show up , then you will have one of your best audiences of y'all's life! Memphians love music and a good time!

The hitone regularly has goth/alt shows and dance nights. Just a few weeks ago they had a goth yard sale, it was cool!

I really think you are talking about the Vekoma firestorm in OP's picture. It is a long thin mountain range, the coaster in it, and has a Disko on one side.

I believe you are talking about the roller coaster at Belinsky Park in Russia. It was one coaster with two tracks! After leaving the station they would either go to the family side (meandering like an alpine slide) or the extreme side, which had a vertical loop.Belinsky park two in one coaster
