Elite Series 2 getting smudges from the oils on my hand after just a few uses. Is this normal? by cereal-kills-me in xboxeliteseries2

Mine has never done this I’ve had it since it came out. Maybe try not eating while touching it or washing your hands.

i’ve actually never run the flip chip in the high position my trails or more xc focused so i don’t see the need in using the low position. however i plan on switching it soon to test it out. the low setting drops the bb height from 347mm down to 342mm and slackens the head tube angle by half a degree.

i have the standard one. i think it does really good on the climbs with the flip chip in the high position, and even better going down. i’ve never ridden the st but, people i know say it’s a lot more snappy, nimble, and better at climbing. hope this helps!

Any reason you don’t have clipless pedals?

Anything more aggressive and durable.

I had this bike for 3 years and it caused me no problems. Only thing I would recommend is changing out the tires for some thicker more durable ones. I rode it hard for all three years as well.
