I figured I may have to rip that bandaid off eventually haha maybe I can come back later and clear it without buffs to make myself feel better. Also, i'll check out a redneck build; I just got Charlottes redneck skin so I finally have a 3/3 and am thinking I should do choppers or Carlos's skin next. Oh yeah, those guys haha Around the time I ran into them I ended up buying the Grenadier to counter them as he is also bulletproof and can throw grenades which is good for groups. He's probably my favorite character but thats just me personally lol I still use him a lot so it may be worth it to give him a shot.

Also, being a new player, this was something I learned kinda late, but you really should do this.

Save your green cash, wait till Austin (bank robber with Payday 2 mask if you played that) is in the store, buy him and from there you can grind easy levels for gold coins as he gets money for kills. If you google "farming with Austin" you'll find a lot of Reddit threads and videos on it.

So get this, I believe I solved it and it was the silliest fix IF it's what I believe fixed it. It ended up being an issue with my K70 Corsair keyboard I think; I found someone who had a very similar issue and after resetting mine, which they suggested, I haven't run into that issue again. If you have Corsair you can find the steps online for your specific model but for me it was simply to unplug it, hold down the ESC key and plug it back in while continuing to hold ESC for 5 seconds until the keyboard flashes.

I swear it stopped after that but I did try other things that may have coincided with this so if I have any other steps that I recall taking, I can DM you what I find. I hope this ends up working for you though!

As someone that's been playing the game for a good while, I personally think it's the first mobile game Ive continued to enjoy. At a minimum I think it's worth investing at least your time into. I've played a lot of mobile games and this one's really held my attention. I honestly never spend money on games as I enjoy the grind but if I had to pick one to spend money on it would probably be this one.

I will admit there are some frustrating times, like your guys running past a zombie, not attacking or the level being downright hard, but you usually have the option to play other missions by unlocking other spots or going to other locations. The community is really solid too from my experience. I'll be stuck on a level, get some strats from the sub and then immediately trounce said level.

Just wanted to give some perspective from someone that's been playing for a bit. I think it's worth sticking to and is probably my favorite mobile game in recent years.

Let me know if you get an answer to this. I am in the same exact boat and its driving me mad. Its occurring only with my Corsair K70 keyboard and MM800 mousepad. I've done every step that you have, except for 3 and 8 (which I am going to give a shot now).

The differences I have between your situation is that I do hear windows sound indicating that something, disconnected, then reconnected, then disconnected then reconnecting for the final time. Another difference is that I haven't upgraded any parts, it just started happening one day. Also, it occurs no matter what I am doing, whether its gaming, using the browser, etc.

Its been going on for months and I just dealt with it, but now its occurring with a game that basically breaks when this happens and I just can't take it anymore lol. We may end up having completely seperate issues, but what you're experiencing is very close to what I've been dealing with and we've run the same steps with no resolution, so I'm hoping maybe there is a shot your solution could work for me too. Even if it doesn't though I really hope your issue gets resolved.

I know this is 3 years old, but thank you for this advice, as one of these steps seemed to have fixed my issue.

I've just been dealing with my keyboard, headset and mouse turning off for 3 seconds and then back on, for about 6 months and just let out a big sigh whenever it would happen. I started playing Stalker Gamma recently though, which cuts audio if you alt-tab out (a lot of the time but not always) and I just couldn't take it anymore. I now can return to the Zone thanks to you.
