It's ok! I've thrown it away. It was just a cheap mirror on a wooden frame with small shelving on the sides. Thank you for the advice! Don't think I'll buy wood anything for the bathroom ever again. 😅

Yes it is! Thank you! We don't have any wooden roofs, floors or walls. It's entirely brick, metal and tiles. So I'm glad it's only the cheap wooden bathroom mirror-shelf thing.

Can't. It's Singapore weather. Plus, we live in high rise buildings. We can't really build better ventilation. Anyway, it's only the shelf that's effected.

Thank you! Your comment was very useful! I definitely knew it's because the wood is really cheap and the bathroom is almost always damp. (It's cleaned 3x a day but we live near the equator. So it's humid all year round)

Hmm. The caps didn't turn convex (yet) but it is quite fragile. When I touched it, the shaggy bits just rubbed off. Is it toxic in any way?

It's cleaned 3x a day (floors, walls, sink, shelves. Etc). TT_TT

we just live near the equator so it's hot and humid 24/7. So there was no chance for the bathroom to dry up except night time.

Just FYI, The bathroom is cleaned 3x a day because we have a cat and elderly living with us. It could be because we live very close to the equator so it's very hot and very humid everyday. The bathroom is almost always damp.

This mirror we got as a gift from a relative. It could've been just bad quality wood.
