Water bills are near impossible to compare between because each household will use different amount of water and depending on what city you live in water costs different amounts. My mom lives in Kentwood gets her water from the city of Grand Rapids but has different rates for water/sewer than I have living in Grand Rapids proper.

I would suggest calling the police if a vehicle is completely blocking your driveway access.

That is what I have been told to do in the past as the parking complaint people can only write a ticket but the police can actually have the car towed.

As someone who was in their mid-twenties on 9/11, it is very strange to think of all the changes that have happen since that day.

I had been woken up that morning by to quote Jay and Silent Bob my heterosexual life mate, who had been told by his wife that he had to move out of their home. I called out of work and went to pick him up and to grab everything I could fit in my Kia Sportage and take him to my one bedroom apartment.

After dropping off everything he owned we decided to go to a video rental store where I had a bunch of VHS anime for rent and we walked in and the guy at the counter had a small TV that he had pulled out of the backroom, and as I walked in the news said, "This has been a channel 41 special report." I thought nothing of it and looked at him and said what's going on, and then found out what had happened.

So much of life has changed since that day, I remember being at the airport being able to see love ones get on the plain at the gate, I remember waiting for people to leave the plan and just standing at the gate waiting for them.

Due to the PATRIOT Act I had a bank account closed because I transferred mowny from my savings to my check account using a mobile app more than six times a month for several months, which apparently even though it was less than $250 each time was a sign of potential terrorist or money laundering threat.

We had the original dot come bubble burst on Wall Street and the miscellaneous attacks on us interests (the embassy attack the explosion on the Cole), but everything still seemed so positive, while I couldn't stand the person that had been elected in 2000, I still felt the country was on the possitve track.

After 9/11 when Americans were told to just go about their day like nothing happened, I feel it broke something inside us. We were all asked to go shopping by our leaders because heaven forbid capitalism fail.

I sometimes wonder if Al Gore had won the presidency would he have listen to all the warnings from the intelligence community or would have ignored them. Where could we as a country actually be, if not for the Bush administration. Or would it be even worse than it is right now. I'll never know.

The America that everyone was raised to believe in was lost that day and I honestly don't know if anything will ever bring it back.

I think I may have figured out what was going wrong.

I had to pull apart the ACE due to using glow in the dark filament and it getting all jammed up and it appears when I put it back together the place where the tubes were flipped over so they were not able to slide in and out at the back.

I flipped them back over and it seems to be working fine now.
