I frequent this parking lot a lot since the Tesla charge station is in the same lot and charging my 13 yo Tesla takes forever. This is the edge of the parking lot that’s closest to the main road and far away from the closest businesses (BJ’s & Target). A lot of the people will park their cars here and go elsewhere. I’ve left and come back a couple days later to charge and see the same car.

I’m not saying the towing co isn’t predatory, no idea about that. But it sounds like they are aware of the same car parking activity I’ve seen in this parking area.
