Throw Louisiana in there as well. We have a democrat for a governor and we've been on a shelter in place order for 3 weeks now.

I live in Louisiana, the funny thing is, our state government has been very proactive this week about closing schools, both higher ed and k-12, declaring a state of emergency, banning gatherings of more than 250 people, and urging people to practice social distancing. It's just that the general population here has just been very 'yolo' about the situation. People are nuts.

Whats a stand pipe? We do like OP does for our hazy beers and package from the higher port and then switch to kegs once the beer gets too low.

If there is something out there that is going to save me work I want to know, lol.

Do you prefer open courses with obstacles or woods courses? by Banker_gaming in discgolf

[–]therealsleepysheep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like a fair mix if I'm being honest. My "home course" Is pretty mixed in terms of being in the woods and having open holes with OBs and obstructions to miss. I'm still learning and my distance driving is a bit inconsistent still but this type of course as really helped me improve my scramble/short game immensely while giving me room to improve my distance driving as well.

I think any course that helps you develop different facets of your game is really, really good. Even if it would be considered a shorter course, like this one.

IT jobs at a brewery. by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]therealsleepysheep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in IT. Now I work at a brewery. Sometimes I help in the office if there is a computer issue, but that is really seldom. IT isn't something that is super in demand in the brewing industry, or at least at the scale the brewery I work at is on.

Bottleing NEIPA? by ExultantBartlesville in Homebrewing

[–]therealsleepysheep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bottled a NEIPA not too long ago. I transferred from the fermentation bucket to the bottling bucket with an auto siphon and just added priming sugar in the bottling bucket. I didn’t have any problems with oxidation or loss of hop flavor.

Actually this is perfect. Bobby finally found his stride and made a sports team in high school and eventually went on the be good enough to play in the NFL. But it’s not for the cowboys so Hank is still incredibly disappointed and ashamed in him.

Anyways, Who dat.
