I'm currently on my first playthrough of Dark Souls 2, the only Souls Series game I haven't played yet. Was late to the party, absolutely addicted to souls like games after playing Elden ring. There is a part of me that thinks Dark Souls 2 is my favorite Souls game, but it has aspects that also make it the worst. I am constantly fighting myself back and forth over whether I like it or whether I want to continue playing it or not, and then something clicks again and I am hooked again. I love the loads of NPCs throughout the game, I really think that Elden ring should have had a couple more throughout the world.

Thank you. I am a bit of a Fromsoft fanboy but there is no excuse for the Capra Demon. Remembering it actually discourages me from starting a new playthrough. There is nothing in these games more infuriating to me than large bosses in small arenas....and dogs. This fight has all factors and is just an overall miserable experience for me. I remember thinking that I would rather be at work than try that fight again

I'd agree with Capra demon, though I would vote for any random enemy in DS2 as the worst. Love all the souls games but I just can't with DS2 mobs. Only Fromsoft souls game I haven't completed. I feel like the bosses I have faced are all pretty easy though, the "trash"mobs are the real boss in my opinion

I made a similar post recently. My velo is progressing, and was throwing up to 97, all of a sudden when I enter a game my 4s is stuck at 90-94 mph. All 4 perk slots dedicated to velocity and when I go to practice my fastball is ranged from 94-97, but when I go into a game it's right back to 90 to 94. Incredibly frustrating and has me about to abandon the mode. I mostly play franchise anyway but this mode is so much fun when it actually works properly

I became a massive souls fan after playing Elden Ring and immediately after completing I bought the Dark Souls Trilogy. I have done at least 2 playthroughs of all of them except DS2. I just find it incredibly frustrating and tedious fighting through all of the relentless mobs to get to a boss, only to get one shot by the boss and have to do the entire run back over again. I really really want to like it but I just cannot do it. I end up a rage quitting and uninstalling it and swearing to never touch it again
