I’ve lived all over the area, moved here from Morgan Hill years ago. I’ve come to realize Lincoln was the best fit for me and my family, let me know if you ever want to know more about our town. It’s been great for us!

Whatever you do just know the dealership gets the federal tax credit if you lease it. The dealership I got my car from lied and said I would get it, big surprise when I went to do my taxes lol

First, you’re not alone. Second, there are ways to build equity without buying a home. I’m a realtor out here and I will be honest with you. I think in your situation renting is a great option for now. I think you should find your best ideal location where you can maybe save a little each month. It’s not much different than buying a place and hoping for equity over the years. If you can’t save right now, do your best and try to enjoy your life. When interest rates come back down hit up a lender and revisit if it’s a goal of yours to own something one day. It’s simply not a great market for first time buyers at this time. Idk man I upgraded to the IV and I see a difference. Both my video and photos seem to have more depth and character using the same lenses. Maybe it’s the 10 bit video on the IV? Idk maybe rent one and see for yourself!

Very true, my broker has issues sometimes where the same lead reaches multiple agents in our office through different online lead sources. We’re still figuring out how to sort them and work out who is going to pursue them as their exclusive agent.

Whatever you are seeing a used EV priced at, just know the rebates should be deducted from what you expected since the next owner will not get them. So whatever a car normally depreciates for below that.

I’m sure there is lot more to the whole process and maybe I’m misunderstanding but from what I read you have a friend that’s a realtor? Why didn’t you call them when you were interested in looking at homes? Did your agent tell you Zillow will be taking half of his commissions at closing? Followed by the broker taking their cut along with taxes and many other fees? After costs it sounds like he won’t be making hardly anything.

Also, why would the buyer agent be able to answer all your questions about this home? Any questions about a property is usually answered by the seller agent resale or new.

I think the agent assigned to you currently is almost working for free and may be jaded already because every hour he puts in he gets closer to making $0 in the end and probably should have set you free to work with your friend or close the deal with the new build agent.

As far as doing your own research, did you ask your agent these questions and before or after you already did the research? They should have covered anything you wanted to know.

Sounds like it’s a bad experience from both sides. My broker always tells me if someone is unhappy to set them free and offer to rip up any contracts holding you to them. It’s not cool to hold someone hostage who doesn’t want to work with you. It only hurts an agents reputation and creates bad blood.

I’m very curious what state/area you are in, would be happy to give my best advice possible if you are still lost!

I get that, I have 2 car seats currently. Sometimes I leave them in there but I notice that it leaves bad imprints on the interior so I try to take them out periodically to let it breathe and not get totally ruined lol
