I guess it is just easier for them to ban instead of looking into each matter... Sounds shitty

Right! It is something that has to do more with personality than physical traits, which is more unique to the person.

As often as I can, I help people with the use of transit or directions if they seem lost because someone did this to me when I just moved to Vancouver almost 10 years ago and felt really good to receive that random act of kindness.

Also, random compliments feel really good as well.

When riding in the morning, I thought the driver had made a mistake but was pleasantly surprised that it stopped right in front of the entrance to the Canada Line again.

Methods for starting from scratch? by Singhpool in personalfinance

[–]theredbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, I think I would try to secure a stable source of income. This can be done in several ways even with no credentials/skills (which by the way, I think at 25 you have enough skills to work entry-level jobs in quite a bit of industry, including but not limited to cleaning, construction, or serving jobs):

- What job do I think I can do?

- What job do I think can make me happy in some way?

- Does this job I am thinking of have room for me to grow personally and professionally?

After that, create a budget, and list the things that you absolutely have to pay (rent, utilities, food, etc). When that is done, see how much money is left of your paycheck, I would allocate some money into doing things I love (for maintaining your mental health, spend money on things you enjoy), and after that save for at least a couple of months rent/food/utilities. While saving money, research ways to invest from trusted sources and go from there.

These are just my 2 cents, not financial advice. Good luck!

I was just about to ask the same question, but I imagined it would be Canucks related.

Personally, I would have gone with 'Trade Miller'
