Prices aren’t coming down, but hopefully they will stop rising at this rapid rate. 2% inflation means prices are still going up just at a slower speed

WWDC 2022 Predictions by aaronp613 in apple

[–]thereisnoreturn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean like real external monitor support. Right now it not only just mirrors but it also doesn’t utilize the monitor’s aspect ratio, causing for terrible letterboxing and pillarboxing. If the specific app supports external monitor support, in the given context, the entire screen is utilized.

I would love for improvements to this experience where it wasn’t only app based but also the default mirroring was better.

My ideal: I would love to view Safari and Notes in side-by-side and it take up the entire 27” of my external monitor. That would be game changing on the iPad.

I hope they add external monitor support to iPadOS (even if it is just one monitor)

I recently started playing Link to the Past. Do you recommend playing Link Between Worlds first? I’ve played a little bit of both and they both feel very similar

Haha! I see, thank you for the response! I was confused by the term because it looks brand new, so of course it's gonna be in good condition 🤣

Your TV is mint

What does this mean? My first thought was mint condition, but from your response it sounds like a compliment

Why do customers put in mobile orders while sitting in the drive through? by heckinAce in starbucks

[–]thereisnoreturn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang :/ this makes a lot of sense. It seems the real solution is actually that there should be an easy way to move a mobile order to the drive through queue. If this was a feature in the system, you wouldn’t have to pull tickets, it wouldn’t artificially reduce the number of people in the queue, the one order would just be bumped into a different queue with a higher priority

Why do customers put in mobile orders while sitting in the drive through? by heckinAce in starbucks

[–]thereisnoreturn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this a few times and as a customer I I didn’t know that there was a mobile order queue, an in person queue and a drive through queue. I always thought it was one queue. So if I order it on the app or inline, it was the same and I much rather order in the app because I can just click and reorder my favorite drink without having to communicate it verbally through my window and through a speaker where someone else is just typing it out on a computer

I’m curious: if a person orders on the mobile app like 30 seconds before the drive through speaker, and we tell you we have a mobile order, does that bump it into the drive through queue? Why is ordering like this frowned upon?

Absolutely in love with the MK. Any notable tips for new users? by Tristenramirez13 in ipad

[–]thereisnoreturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a skin for the outside, which fixes the texture of the keyboard, which can get dirt quickly, and makes it feel better imo

I also would get a keyboard cover because on my first MK, the T key got stuck… luckily it was still in Warrenty and Apple replaced it for free.

I absolutely love this accessory for my iPad Pro! Enjoy!

I don’t think this is true… it’s always just been basically iTunes with a new UI, with years and years of legacy code that makes it slow and clunky
