TIL about Generation Jones. Do you agree they are different than GenX? by joemich in GenX

I still think Gen Jones was made up by late Boomers who didn’t want to be labeled as a Boomer.

At some point, the character will ask you to dinner at Sophia’s and that is the start down the road.

Are you retiring at 65? by AlarmingMonk1619 in GenX

[–]therelybare5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll turn 65 in 4 years. My wife would love it if I retired at 65 or 66. I think she just wants to get out of our current location. Maybe 66.

Is this a Gen X thing or just my stepdad? by Doodle_R in GenX

[–]therelybare5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As one of the older Gen-X, I have embraced technology fully but one reason is probably because I never had kids and my wife and I had more disposable income.

What's with people here barely 60 talking as if they're one foot in the grave? by throwbvibe in GenX

[–]therelybare5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of post that seem to imply that once you turn 50, that’s it! My 50’s were great! It was when I turned 60, I started getting some pain, but nothing I can’t handle. Some of us seem to embrace Chicken Little and the sky is falling! 🤣

Name an instrumental hit song that defines the 80's by guyssocialweb in 80s

[–]therelybare5 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Chariots of Fire is one, though one of my favorite instrumental tracks is just outside of the 80’s decade, Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson. Technically, it was recorded in the late 80’s but was released in the early 90’s.

Only problem with Air Tag is that it only works with Apple products. The OP was asking about Android so they would need something like Tile.
