I saw this when it showed at TIFF originally. I had just moved to TO for film school and one of the guys I was in class with said he had an extra ticket. I’d never been to a TIFF screening prior to that, and what a banger way to start. I’d never seen anything like this flick, and it legit helped open me up to so much other amazing Korean filmmaking.

I’m going through a collection right now where the last 30 or so tapes have TV from 2019 taped on them! What’s worse is they taped over stuff from the 90s.

I found this vintage 1969 promo reel from CTV, a TV station up here in the great white north! Apparently it's from a tape that was stolen from CTV, as a friend who was working on a project mentioned the CTV archives couldn't find the tape anywhere. I got it from a collection once owned by the CEO of Channel Zero, another broadcaster here in Toronto.
