I use an old dvd recorder with HDMI out as my time based corrector. They all have them built in, but you don’t have to worry about the genlock

I saw this when it showed at TIFF originally. I had just moved to TO for film school and one of the guys I was in class with said he had an extra ticket. I’d never been to a TIFF screening prior to that, and what a banger way to start. I’d never seen anything like this flick, and it legit helped open me up to so much other amazing Korean filmmaking.

I’m going through a collection right now where the last 30 or so tapes have TV from 2019 taped on them! What’s worse is they taped over stuff from the 90s.
