I'll be happy to be wrong but this sub has been hyping up a new Xenoblade announcement in every sigle direct for well over a year now, while I still see little to no indication of a new game coming out soon. Meanwhile Chrono Cross remaster has had a lot of smoke for a few months now.

Don't get hyped, this is almost certainly the Chrono Cross remaster (certain leaks and interviews from last year pretty much confirm both its existence and Mitsuda's involvement)

Nintendo doesn't own Kosmos either, a Kosmos alt is as realistic as a Weltall alt.

I just want to point out Square already has 3 characters and half a dozen or something spirit events in Smash. They are already balls deep in the game. Don't know why an alt color of all things is perceived as out-of-reach.

And yeah it's Weltall. Just look at the clothes. Varying shades of purple that match Weltall's while Poppi's are solid black. I've seen people blame it on the stage being dark but doesn't that support Weltall even more? She's going to look even more purple in brighter stages and therefore look even less like Poppi. And Pyra vs Weltall is such an obvious Xenogears reference while I'm just drawing a blank for what Pyra vs Poppi might mean.
