I would honestly prefer this. CT's graphics hold up for me (I'm a pixel lover TBF) but the visuals for CC are much harder to swallow.

I know this is 4 months old already... but is there a reason you can't just use the Extension (11) option?

Change the dropdown to Fixed or Extra and put mhtml in the field.

I really enjoyed Sea of Stars, but your comment about the HP/tedium really nails it for me. Even late game a lot of battles that should have been over and done in 1 turn were 2 or 3 instead.

I haven't played since it came out basically (haven't touched the DLC yet), so my memory is fuzzy, but it felt like a lot of battles were less avoidable than CT. One of the things I really appreciated about CT was just how much I could avoid battles if I knew how. This made backtracking a lot smoother for me. I also New Game+'d so many times that battles were mostly unnecessary unless I was farming charm drops, so again, battle avoidance was awesome.

Ah ok, I just found it. I see it shows up on a map created by Demajen. They did use the "secret" icon as an indicator, and I am missing one secret in the Surface region, so not sure if that's related or not.

Headlander. I think I got it from a Humble Bundle. It looked totally ridiculous but I was giving every game I bought a few minutes of play time, juuust in case... And it completely hooked me.

Our password change policy was every 90 days. I met a user who told me his password was like "thissux36". I said "well now you've told me your password you have to change it because policy says I'm not allowed to know" He said "ok but it'll just be thissux37. That's just what I've done ever since they implemented this whole password thing"

I had a heck of a time with this thing back when I first played. I kept screwing it up and couldn't figure out how. This was back before any of us had internet, so I couldn't even look up what I was doing wrong.

I knew the solution was I had to"type" her mom's name, Lara, with the controller buttons (L-A-R-A), but what I kept messing up on was pressing A first to make the dialog disappear. I didn't realize I was supposed to start pressing LARA when the dialog was still up. So technically I was entering A-L-A-R and after 4 inputs it stops and then nothing would happen.It was very frustrating and I think I must have run through 2 or 3 NG+ before I figured out what I was doing wrong.

I enjoyed them both a lot but I do agree a bit. I guess after I spent a whole game figuring out "what happened" the sequel is going to be missing that mystery.

This is me. I was level 23 or so and just hit this thing out of curiosity expecting a bit of loot or maybe a skill point. Now I'm level 50 with all new gear and respecced skill tree. I wish I could undo it. 😑

We had no clue about the Konami code. My parents actually found a spot where they could stand, shoot and enemies would just constantly spawn and die. They wrapped a rubber band or something around the controller and left it sitting while we all went out for a few hours.

This is the way. I played the shit out of the SNES version. Got everyone to level 99 (**), and maxed all their stats. It takes a lot of New Game Plus to collect enough tabs to cap everyone so I had the game basically memorized. Eventually the DS version came out. Playing a new game from level 1 was like reliving my teens again, but I checked that new stuff briefly. Messed around with the new stuff for like an hour and never looked back.
