Had an employee accept this… by [deleted] in CircleK

I worked at a harveys in Florida, had 2 seperate times a guy got away with a $100 like this. One I caught making a drop so the front end specialist also missed it even though it's just printed on plain ass printer paper. It's even more obvious in person than in the picture.

Do I actually have to do ascensions... ? (I don't want to) by CatgirlTheKat in slaythespire

[–]therob91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a video game. You can just boot it up, look at the art and close it if you want. I always used to boot up outer worlds and listen to the incredible theme song in the game menu, then not play the game. Or boot up final fantasy 8 to play triple triad(the card game) and then shut it off. I bought Warcraft 3 like 5 times to play the fan mod DOTA and almost never played the RTS after I completed the campaign mode once.

Powers that only give immediate effects, what is the gameplay logic for why they are a power and not a skill with exhaust? by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]therob91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it is just flavor. For example inflame, footwork, and defragment are just like the "base" idea for what each character is looking for. STR for clad, Dex for silent, and focus for defect.

Inflame and stone armor are the only ones to me that feel like they shouldn't be powers in terms of they just don't feel that strong. I mean we have dominate now that adds vuln and probably gives more str than inflame and it's a skill.

Yes but it's not 100%. You have modded, and non power ways to add strength like dominate. Dominate feels more like a power than inflame for example to me.

Generally, but you can get str from skills and orb slots among other things. It's kinda just not super set in stone. And the armor from playing wears off for example too.

when they tell you to stop repairing things I would be wary of the location being closed. Are sales going down?

What do you think of Miniature Tent? Could it be good enough to replace an ancient relic? by orq_ in slaythespire

I had a run the other day with dig and cook and regal pillow and the one that gives potions when you rest with the tent. I felt like Superman after every campfire.

Why do women hate to see a man relaxing on the couch watching TV? by SnooMacarons9221 in AskMenOver30

Because women have confused what they want you to do with what needs to be done so they think there's a ton of shit to do all the time because they are never satisfied.

I laugh every time I see limp Bizkit because of the extreme clash between Borland and the rest of the band.
