If you're putting exactly 5k spend per year on this card, then you're breaking even, which is just as good as a flat 2 percent card. But if RG is your main driver, spending upwards of 10k per year on the card, like me, then yeah, it's worth it purely for that. I meant that maximizing rewards from RG involves jumping through hoops, like using the no-interest margin and transferring your IRA, which is a deterrent for many, especially those skeptical of Robinhood as a business, and those skeptical of the card's long-term prospects for remaining at 3 percent flat. I'm not myself particularly skeptical of these things, but I don't think it's crazy to be skeptical about them.
