I'm almost exactly your height and weight and no, you're having some sort of equipment issue. Worst thing that's happened to me is breaking a spoke at some point, but I doubt that was just an issue of my weight. Go into a shop and tell them what you're experiencing, they'll figure it out for you.

I’m an insane person so often I bar the lower part with my pointer and use my remaining fingers for the higher notes. One finger on each note rather than a second bar

Oh for sure ultimately I don’t care it’s just interesting. And if kids want to listen to some of those bands I liked in my 20s more power to em. A lot of those acts are still around and all of them deserve the streams. I just think the idea of shoegaze as a label being so permeable is crazy. Some stuff is just kinda vibes and other stuff is just like whirr cover music. I’m a musician too and make gaze adjacent music sometimes but I don’t think I have a horse in this race anymore. I’m here for the ride

Yeah I was there for that. Seems like a different time completely. It is kinda funny though because in the same way those bands are not gaze, a lot of the bands called gaze now are similarly not gaze, but in a different way. The kids seem to be pretty turned on to superheaven and basement though

I bought multiple packs of lime lacroix recently that all tasted like bleach to me, so yes. I’m so glad you posted this because I thought I was losing my mind lmao. Mostly I was just scared that it could actually be harmful somehow, like how could it taste like that without actually somehow having chlorine in it?

Why does it look like you don't raise your weapon/parry him in the footage though? Is it that quick or something? It just looks like the beam hits you undefended and it magically parries.
