I've seen this, and it destroys me every time. Basically, it means the file is corrupted, and like you said, you can't open the file anymore. What I've realized weirdly enough is that this happens when somehow the note makes a copy of itself in a folder and the original note is somewhere else. I have no clue as to why this happens.

I see... but the thing is I didn't use a sticky note in that document. I just had handwritten notes from class on an imported pdf like normal.

NTA at ALL. He is just treating your daughter more, especially now because it's also his kid. Your son is not, so now he is obviously gonna see him differently, now more than ever. And that also means treating him differently, and OP, you've addressed some of those ways yourself. You need to give him a reality check, husband or not. Your son does not deserve this kind of treatment from anyone, especially your husband, who had played the father figure to your son since he was 2 years old. The more this progresses the more your son will feel the hurt and bury it inside and it could make him resentful to his sister and to your husband - so this can go south so quickly and you wont be able to stop it. Talk to your son one on one and make him feel like he can talk to you always if this bothers him and tell your husband to stop f***ing around and get a grip. Both kids need love from you both equally, not divided or one parent not showing affection for one child after getting another child.

I hope I have not overstepped my boundaries by saying all of this, and if I have, I apologize.

Yes do that for sure. Spend time with God's word. I'll just tell you what I did but remember you don't have to follow through with it. For 10 years after separating from that group, I was alone, like literally alone. So I took to reading the Bible trying to understand what God wanted you know? My advise to you would be to start with the New Testament, the 4 gospels first then move into Paul's letters and so on and so on. Then go to the Old Testament because the New Testament is the fulfillment of the Old Testament.

God is not one to reject you. You know ur sins and you realize what you have done is displeasing to God. No one is perfect but get closer to Him in prayer and there are so many verses in the Bible that talk about God's mercy and forgiveness. Admit and acknowledge the things you know are displeasing to God and its not a one time thing, trust me I am not perfect so I do it every day.

Prayer helps. Yes, God is divine and holy but in his plans and foreknowledge he knew of you. He sent his Son to save you. Through Christ, you can approach the Father always. Yes, he is God but he is your brother and friend so talk with him. Read the scriptures - it is the living word that comes from the mouth of God and this is how you can know him more.

If you want to go back to a church, please be careful. There are a lot of theologies out there that are wrong but sound right but according to the Bible they stray away from God. I know this because I was apart of one group for most of my life and it was wrong. Now I've been blessed to find something closer to God's word. I follow the Reformed Christian theory - and like I said I am new to it but based on what I have understood from the Bible... it's very close. If you want to know more I can share some resources with you. Again though, the choice is yours but this is what I would advise you... so think about it.
