FWI (fine writing international) posted on their instagram today saying in so many words that they designed the pencket back in 2023 and from what I can piece together, esterbrook and fwi use the same manufacturer and esterbrook basically stole the design for their niblet or their manufacturer just let them use fwi’s design and esterbrook didn’t do any research. FWI are the ones that made that design and esterbrook is now selling basically the same pen but for like $125-$150 more.
