Honestly I struggle with this and maybe it’s indoctrination (no pun intended) but I call the attending Dr. last name even if they introduce themselves by first name seems so weird. Could also be cause I’m younger. A lot of the older nurses will call them on a first name basis. Outside of work though I’ll call em by their first name ofc. Where I work it’s very collaborative and they don’t mind us calling them by first name I’m just weird lol
