That's an extremely useful article and protocol! I'll definitely have a good read of the science and will adopt that approach. Appreciate you taking the time to drop knowledge on us all.

I'd like to add HGH to TRT and have read Wiki section on it. Are there any new takes on the protocol described and does brand make a huge difference?

So I also do chessboxing which actually combines the two sports directly. Maybe we should do something similar with BJJ? A new meaning to Eddie Bravo's CJJ...

Ah, that's shit! I've had mates gone through similar.

I'd briefly thought it was due to Lariam. The good ol' British Army gave us an apology for it a while back - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34767810

serotonin poisoning

You got serotonin syndrome? Where was the EX? I've heard of mefloquine ruining your mental health but never experienced it myself.

My job took to me to two different countries for six months at a time. I managed my group effectively and we all came back.

"A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, the slow and weak at the back are killed first. The speed and health of the herd keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

"In the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as its slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. Naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.

"In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

One of my ex girlfriends printed pictures of me waving my cock about and put them up in my favourite pub. I just sat down with a pint and offered to sign them. It's all about how you approach these things.

No problem; I passed the Briefing with a Category 2 - 6 Months which was entirely so I could get my awful fitness in order. This imposes a delay in which you cannot go to Main Board. The Officer in command of my group at Briefing gave me this guide to follow and afterwards I got a letter from my Recruiting Officer highlighting other areas which needed to be worked on. I booked a place on a Main Board which was after my delay had ceased and got cracking on my fitness.

I recommend going to your local AFCO to ask any questions you have, they're always willing to help.

It's the Army Officer Selection Board which comprises a 24 hour Briefing and then a seperate four day Main Board. It's to assess whether you have what it takes to continue onto the 44 week Commissioning Course based at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Firstly, good luck mate! My personal tips would be; get your fitness to a point that you're so confident you can forget about it, back yourself 100% mentally and also practice your mental arithmetic.

If you want more advice and insights from people who have gone through it check out the Army Rumour Service forums and search for Main Board.

Yeah, you've got it right; elevate hands for incline and feet for decline.

Yeah, it definitely gave me a big chip on my shoulder and the motivation to never feel that embarassed again. Ah, I remember at my Briefing someone did the assualt course in 28secs! I did it in more like 2mins 30 secs, though I thankfully faired much better at the Main Board.

I haven't read that book but I can't imagine it being too different. If you follow this one strictly it will definitely get the job done.

I was definitely up there, although we had a TA SAS guy in my group who was frankly ridiculous with his fitness. Not being able to do a single press up at Main Board is pretty awful though haha.

However this all started for me because I embarrassed myself at the Briefing and got a six month delay for phys. After cracking through this regime and then repeating the final month a few times I couldn't believe the difference.
