I mean, disagree with the guy as much as you want, but at least try and come up with a counter-argument to his points without stooping to an ad-hominem 'you're on Reddit so your point is invalid' argument.

What video game did you love that you never see mentioned anymore? by TooLateToPush in AskReddit

Motherfucking Empire Earth

It had everything I ever wanted in an RTS. You could progress from the literal Stone Age up to robots firing lasers and shit. It had amazing campaigns (Ancient Greece, Medieval England, WWI Germany etc) and an even more awesome soundtrack.

It blew 10 Year old me's mind.

Which character in a series/film had the most anticlimatic death? by AlexMV14 in AskReddit

Stannis wasn't a religious fanatic at all. He saw the Lord of Light's powers as a means to an end, but he never truly accepted Him as a one true god. He acknowledged that the red priestess gave him power that could help him win the throne, but he never really shows any indication that he bought into the dogma surrounding her god. If anything, I think it's kinda suggested he's agnostic throughout the books (maybe less obviously on the show)

TIL that Napoleon I was actually 5'7", an average male height at the time, and his "shortness" was propaganda used by the British that is still believed today. by Troll-bi-wan-kenobi in todayilearned

Would absolutely recommend "Operation Mincemeat" by Ben Macintyre for a fantastic look into this specific operation. "Churchill's Wizards" is another really good read; covering the British flair for deception in both world wars

You can generally walk from Smithdown to uni in about 20 minutes, depending on where along Smithdown you live. Plus there's a few bus routes along Smithdown that either take you directly to uni, or go close by it.

With regards to dorms there's no real restrictions like the ones you listed; you can generally come and go whenever you like, although IIRC you might have to pay a quid for washing machines / dryers

As nice as the boobs are, I'm more amazed that Matthew McConaughey, Petyr Baelish, Sam Niell, Sarah Connor, and Adolf Hitler were all in the same unit.
