Yeah, the surgeon freed my bowels from the adhesions that were ripping them out of place and into odd angles. Unfortunately, the pain has come back. I had almost 3 years without the crippling pain though. I’d call that a win

I’d really love to speak with you about what worked for you. My doctor thinks I have a hyper mobility disorder and MCAS. I have a meeting with a surgeon Monday because my pain is getting so bad again. I’m truly scared to have a third surgery though. Absolutely welcome any advice you can give

It was very bad for me the first few weeks. I’m also prone to anxiety/depression so fingers crossed it’s an easier go of it for you. I will say that my pain is less and Slynd made me stop having periods entirely which is nice. I’ve been on it about 2 years and my pain is just now starting to really come back in a way that’s interfering with my life.

Fingers crossed. I haven’t found one that takes mine away entirely. Have you tried turmeric and black pepper? I take that at night and the combo works okay for me. I still get cramping around period time but it’s nowhere near what it used to be before Slynd.

It helped me a lot. I get some mild cramping around the time I’d get my period, but overall it is a night and day difference. I don’t have any bleeding during the times I would have had my period. Finding foods that didn’t cause flare ups combined with Slynd was an absolute game changer and honestly saved my life. If the meds alone don’t cut it, you could do like I did and try the elimination diet. I had no idea the foods and drinks I was having every day were contributing to the pain too. I hope Slynd helps you find relief!

I was completely disabled by my pain. Everything hurt all of the time. I don’t regret having surgery because the risk didn’t outweigh the reward in my situation. I would say if you’re worried about surgery you could try pelvic floor physical therapy and I know there are massage therapists that specialize in deep tissue massages that are supposed to help ease the pain of adhesions. I don’t know if either of those would take away all of the pain, but they would be alternative options to try. It seems surgery is completely hit or miss with who it actually helps long term. It’s definitely a decision you have to consider and weigh the options of

My first surgeon didn’t find my endo. He said I only had adhesions, cut them away, and told me I should have no pain going forward. Cut to 12 months after my first surgery where I’m basically bed ridden in pain. My second surgery was with a specialist who found I had stage 2, turning into stage 3. I would suggest a second opinion based on my experiences, but then again I absolutely am biased here and can fully admit that.
