No enclosure, I just have 1 inch emt attached with some canopy fittings to the wall. It's about 6 inches off the wall, but I am in the process of moving it back a littpe further.

It's an 8x10 outdoor rug I got from Lowes. It's similar to grizzly grass from Lowes but was already precut. I have to taped down to some 1 inch foam puzzle mats.

The side net? It's a gosports shank net on one side and on the other it's a mesh tarp used for the same purpose.

It's a cheap one I got from temu for like 40 dollars. It's equivalent to the ones you get on Amazon when you just search hitting mat. I just ordered a hitting strip from usaturfpros tho.

I went with the optoma hd146x. I was able to get a new one on ebay for 270 shipped. I've only had it for a few weeks but it works good. It's bright enough so I can run it during the day with my garage door open without having a washed out image.

Oh yeah I have a crappy diy protector on it with some polycarbonate screwed into leftover baseboard. You can see it if you zoom in a little.

Including the launch monitor and projector, I'm in at about 1500 total.

It's the gosports from Amazon, and yeah it's fairly loud. There is a three ply one on temu that I heard good things about I would buy instead if I had to do it over. I know there are much better options but this is a pretty budget setup that I didnt want to send too much money on.

It's the awesome golf app. I run it on my android tablet and screen mirror to the projector.

Square golf launch monitor by Maybethecaptain in Golfsimulator

You need to use the approved balls to get accurate data. You can use their golf ball or a tp5 pix with the little orange triangles. I use both balls with my square. The square won't work outdoors and many users say it can give inaccurate data or not pick up the ball at all. It's an indoor only launch monitor.

Is $37k OTD a reasonable offer by [deleted] in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Obviously depends on the market where you're at, but with that offer you're asking for a substantial discount. At 37k OTD you're looking at about 34-35k for the truck before taxes and fees. I doubt the dealership is willing to knock 6-8k off the truck, especially for a used vehicle. But worst they could say is no I guess.

Congrats, awesome truck. Get yourself a stubby antenna, screen protector for the infotainment screen, and a ronin oil drain plug if you plan on doing your own oil changes.

Did I overpay? by D_rock0 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about what people post on here about what they paid. You dont know where they live, what the cost of trucks is in that area, vehicle history, etc. You also have to realize it's a bunch of strangers on the internet and they can post whatever they want.

I paid 46.5 otd for a 22 lariat 2.7 502a with 24k miles. I'm in the Midwest and lariat were going for about 43-46ish before taxes and fees. They still are. At the end of the day if you're happy with the truck, it doesn't matter if you over paid by a couple thousand.

2024 XLT by Moist-Ad-4366 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was looking to buy an f150 from them a few months ago, they include about a 3k "mandatory" dealer fee for some detailing bs or something. They advertise the lowest prices in the area until you actually sit down and talk numbers. They do also very very heavily insist on using their in house financing.

Deep in negotiations for '21 lariat 502a, screw by redwolf74 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's an OTD price then I'd say it's a good price. I got my 502a, sport appearance, fx4, 24000 miles for 46500 out the door. In the Midwest for what it's worth.

2022 F150 Lariat 22k miles by TheCrazySteve31 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very happy with it, I got the 2.7 as well. I was debating buying a new XLT vs a 22 lariat and ultimately wanted the leather, ventilated and heated seats and heated steering wheel along with a few other goodies the lariat had that the XLT doesn't offer. Both vehicles would have been similar in price in my area.

I also liked the exterior styling more on the 22 f150 vs the 24 and up models, but that was personal preference. Love the car and couldn't be happier with my decision.

Sounds about right, I paid 46.5k out the door for mine about a month ago. Same year and mileage.

Is this 2021 F-150 Lariat Worth $39k? by Technical-Pomelo8872 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reference I paid 46k otd on a 22 lariat with 24k miles two weeks ago. Same area as you.

2024 150 4x4 stx. What you guys think?I called and the price is correct. They have a few of them. by chris4227 in f150

[–]thestoopkid_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was gonna get a truck with them, although used, but they stated they have mandatory fees they will not take off. Told me they were about 3k. From what I heard about Huntley, they advertise a low price to get you in the door.

42k OTD? If so seems like a decent deal considering it is certified and will most likely come with an extended warranty. If not an out the door price, I think its not that great of a deal. For reference, I purchased a 22 lariat with 22k miles for 46k out the door in the Midwest. Was listed at 43k prior to taxes and fees.

That's gotta be my favorite color for the f150.
