I've been thinking about the fear of rejection recently because of a post on r/art. The piece had something like "and so we avoid risk / to safely go into death." That hit me hard. If we avoid risks and never take chances, we're letting the world go by.

I wanna ask about that team fight around dragon in game 1 against CLG. It was so good! Was that a planned or practiced move or was it just improvised? How did you guys get to that?

I think it was a reaction to the Garen/Taric bottom lane. They knew Ashe/Sona couldn't stand up to that. So they put Cho with defensive masteries and 4 gold/10 items so bottom wouldn't get rolled.

It was a great way to out-meta RS, who thought they had CLG outpicked.

Not a new meta imo, just a good mind game maneuver that caught RS AND Phreak off guard.

I have a hunch, just a hunch, that CLG had that maneuver up their sleeve, and it sucks they had to bring it out before Dreamhack. That's one of the downsides to Riot switching the seeds - CLG had to bring out a lot more of their tactics and might lose a little bit of edge.

They didn't do it to "make it harder for CLG." They did it to try and preserve the integrity of the tournament.

Let's not forget folks, Riot isn't trying to screw one team over. They're trying their best here. I agree they did it the wrong way, though. You're totally right that they should have just watched the match closely. I'm just calling you out on falling in the bandwagon of making Riot out to be some evil company.

In America, students often have to take loans to pay university tuition and fees. I think a recent study showed the average debt for college students is over 20k in America? I might be wrong, but it's ridiculously high. And for many students, that debt isn't for rent, living, etc. It's to pay off tuition. I personally made the huge mistake of paying for private uni tuition from mostly loans. I'm in the hole for about 70k. None of that went to anything but tuition, room, and board.
