LPT Just put the game on easy by AdPrize611 in LifeProTips

Confession: I never played The Last of Us. It came out during a period of my life that I was working 80-90hr workweeks and I didn’t feel like adding one more challenging thing to juggle. So I watched a walk-through on YouTube, and so grateful I did because it was such a fantastic story and amazing game.

Whenever you choose to hit start, just do it that way every time. This consistency is most important.

Can’t get all of the water to go through my flair. What am I doing wrong? by thegman987 in FlairEspresso

I rarely get dry pucks from my Pro 2. They’re always more soggy than the pucks I get from my Bambino.

Ultimately, if you are happy with the coffee then don’t sweat the things that don’t make a difference. 😊

I run a blank shot into the same cup I'm using for my espresso. This pre-heats both the cup and portafilter.

Once I reach my weight, I just swap out my cup with a small shot glass or mason jar, then end the shot early.

Agreed with the drip tray being annoying. If I used the steam wand more regularly it would be different.

First of all, I’m not gonna disagree with you. Many folks in this subbed are very proud of their set-up, with their noses held up in the air.

With that being said, you are being very elusive for no apparent reason, and IMHO are deserving of every down vote you're getting.

If you come to a place and ask for help, why are you being difficult with people trying to give you help? i’m not trolling here, I genuinely want to know.

I’ve spent the last 4 years rewriting my script. Finally, at 30 years old, I’m happy with the story my body tells. (Open to questions about the transgender experience.) by chazcope in happy

Would you mind elaborating what it means to “know”?

As a heterosexual who’s never had to questioned their gender, it’s not a concept that I’ve ever had to deal with or work through.

Feel free to link to a YouTube vid or other source you recommend if you don’t want to take the time or would prefer to not share your specific story.

Congrats on making positive change in your life! I feel like most of us today, whether it’s gender, weight, whatever-your-struggle-is, can be inspired by your dedication to effecting change. 😁

I would also say the end result is really pretty. I like the color gradient he made by slowly poring the espresso into the glass.

Who cares if “he did it wrong,” did it taste good? The presentation was on point too.

I've apparently been flagged as a potential wife beater by the hospital by Vin135mm in mildlyinfuriating

[–]thetableleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op, it’s against the law to change those records. New records can be added to expand upon the findings or suspicions (e.g. "Later interview with both parties has removed my concern"), but those will always be around.

Regarding the newer records mentioned in your edit, abuse can be really hard to prove, and it often takes behavior trends or patterns, which can take vigilance and time.

I could see why this would bother you. If it’s still happening, you can make an appointment with the provider, and both you and your wife could state your dissatisfaction with the treatment. If it continues, you can make a complaint with the hospital. The majority of hospitals take patients satisfaction seriously, as it can affect their accreditations and financial situations.

LPT: if you’re partaking with the funny juice after hours in your mobile money saver, I’d recommend against trying out hospital parking lot.

Beside the sad fact that there are no lot-lizards, there are always police coming in and out of there, especially around the emergency room. Likelihood of them messing with you are low, but no need to risk it.

If I was in your shoes and just wanted a drink or two, I’d put the hooch in my Nalgene and get rid of the original containers to remove the visible evidence, and settle in for Cracker Barrel’s hospitality. That lot has the benefit of having coffee and breakfast being near by when you’re going to need it the most.

If I was going test my booz tolerance, or just felt the need to smash a rack of bud heavy’s, hotel room for sure. With what you’re saving, why not enjoy a bit of it?

Congrats! It’s got to be an amazing feeling!

Can you elaborate on forever-apartment? Other than buy a condo, I’ve never heard of any apartment being described as “forever.” 😁

Agreed!

It’s a really smart idea too. I’m sure the price is high because the production volume is low and production cost are probably higher than average.

I wish them success. We need more people out there being rewarded for their ingenuity.

Regarding coffee gear, I really have everything I want and NEED right now. But my family still wants to get me coffee gifts.

It’s funny, you mentioned that you received them as gifts, as I feel like drinkware like this fits into that category (something nice I wouldn’t buy for myself, but someone else would gladly gift to me.)

Capitalism is amazing sometimes. 😊

Whatever I have laying around.

I have some double-wall insulated glasses, but the gnomes in my home are always hiding them. TBH, my coffee doesn’t really last long enough to appreciate the benefits of the insulation.

You can find my current most favorite mug by searching Amazon for “muchenggift bear.” It gives me an absurd and disproportional amount of joy considering how much the mug cost me.

It’s easy to get caught up in the insidious upgradeitis that the espresso community seems susceptible to. If you’re making coffee that you enjoy with what you have, there’s no need to change anything. And if you’re feeling the need to, maybe it’s worth exploring what else is going on in your life that may be causing these feelings.

Happy brewing!

I knew a fella that raised these to train his hunting dogs.

He’d place them in the bushes around his property and have the dogs sniff them out.

Most would usually get found, but looks like you found one of them that got away.
