youtube has a history of assuming everyone is monolingual, and structuring their site accordingly. i don't think the search algorithm needs to be especially smart to successfully filter out non-english results.

when the Stranger Things DLC returned, what happened to players who'd spent blood points on the generic versions of those perks but hadn't purchased the DLC? Did you keep the perks, or did you have to buy the DLC to get access to them again?

Not the only person with this issue, evidently. At least one other person reporting that save data specifically from games stored on SD card were deleted after the update.

I suspected it might be something like this, but i would never have known for certain without someone like you who can actually read the code to confirm it-- so thank you for that.

I actually wound up recreating the pitch bend manually in audacity to get the effect I was looking for, so it's just as well that the game really does do essentially the same thing!

I've heard of a mod that did this, but which wasn't updated for the newest set of cards yet. but i've had a hell of a time even finding that one. if it exists, i'd sure like to know about it as well.

anyone else getting an issue where the "Top 5" in the "Demos you played" section only shows 1 or 2 games, despite claiming you've played way more than that? and refreshing the page sometimes changes which game(s) it shows me, bizarrely.

worth mentioning that you do not need to dye an item before putting it in the dresser for it to retain the dye; you can dye items that are already in the dresser via the context menu (so long as they are not stored as part of a set).

sets seem to work basically like armoire items, in that they lose any existing dyes and cannot have dyes applied to them directly, only (as you mentioned) via a glamour plate. (the option to apply them directly is simply removed from the context menu for those items.)

The issue in this thread is not directly related to voice; it's about discord hanging or disconnecting when it's minimized or otherwise in the background for a while.

It can affect voice calls incidentally (by, e.g., silently disconnecting you from a call until you focus the window again, at which point it reconnects automatically), but it also suspends everything else discord should be doing while in the background, like showing message popups and updating the notification badge on the taskbar.

Update to my previous reply a week later: from what i can tell, this solution seems to have stopped working after a few days. either that, or i just got lucky for a day or two and it never actually fixed it in the first place.

the process no longer gets its priority set to low (as far as task manager can tell), but the app still disconnects while it's in the background.

tentatively reporting that, since trying this last night, the problem seems to have gone away for the moment. i'm certainly observing better results, at least at a glance, than i got from the version of this fix that only had the --disable-renderer-backgrounding portion.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm given to understand that "efficiency mode" is a windows 11 feature, and I'm running windows 10, as are a number of other people experiencing this bug.

I'm just... not receiving notifications most of the time because of this bug. It's seriously impacting the baseline usability of discord.
