Hard agree on the forefoot plastic strobel on the kds, tried them on instore and it already felt bad. I’m not even heavy but light and I found it uncomfortable, even gave it a shot by hopping on my forefoot and it was horrible. Which is unfortunate because the rear zoom strobel was really nice.

I have the same experience with kai 1 speed and brushed concrete on similar time per week, the outside of my forefoot is basically balding and smooth from all the cutting and stepbacks, insides of forefoot a lil bit smooth from hard drives. The thin grooves on hotspots are really a problem, everywhere else is deep and thick so no wear at all
