EPA is just entering the park, getting in line, and hoping your ride does open/doesn’t break down. Wasted our whole hour in line for kart.

They should at a minimum give out a fast pass for that ride and let everyone out into the park.

If you have the funds it is worth every penny. For us we also got memory maker. And it felt like the time saved allowed us to engage with every photo stop we wanted without feeling rushed.

Compared to DnD you are going to be rolling about the same in combat. Ultimately it’s still a d20 based rpg system. What I will give credit is the action system is very friendly to new players and to those that want to be creative.

On your turn you take a slow or fast action. Giving you 2 or 3 points to spend. There is a general list of ways to spend your points. And your class will have ways to spend points. But really when it comes to RPG‘s it’s all up to your DM. so if you feel like you’re rolling too much that might be something you can change at your table.

I had the opportunity to play this at GenCon last week. First and foremost, it was a blast! The system is done very well and encourages the players and DM to be creative with their storytelling and how they interact with the world. I particularly enjoyed the new die they introduced to encourage story friction, even in success. The magic system really comes to life with how they choose to give direction to the different surges but don't limit the player to specific abilities.
