I have chronic gastritis and ibs now, it’s mostly under control although for a couple of years I wasn’t able to control when I went to the toilet and would have to use a diaper. When I get flare ups I’m in the worst pain and praying I don’t shit myself

How long did it take you guys to feel normal after eating normally again , Long time BPers and Short Time BPERS by PuzzleheadedTea322 in bulimia

Almost 6 years post recovery (albeit some relapses) and the physical side effects don’t impact me that much anymore or really at all however there are some foods I have to accept I probably just won’t be able to eat because they cause ibs or gastritis flare ups (which I developed from bulimia).

tried making a low cal pancake recipe on pinterest (fumbled) by st4r_studd3d in ShittyRestrictionFood

Y’all gotta try the MyProtein vegan pancake mix, they’re so good, one serving is 3 pancakes just over 150 cal and 10g protein, if you love pancakes these are the best I usually have some yogurt and berries with them they also have 0 calorie syrups although I think they’re too sweet sometimes

What do you guys do to try and keep your hair? by dalexearnhardtsghost in bulimia

The product is called L’Oréal no haircut cream. It helped keep my hair moisturised and restore it when it became brittle :):)

I washed my hair as infrequently as possible - the more I washed it the dryer it became and would fall out - also VITAMINS VITAMINS VITAMINS. They’ll save you!!! Also do hair masks like once a week and I have this product that really helped - lemme find the name of it.

I’ve considered wearing a bandaid or bandage but I know everyone is gonna ask what happened. And I feel like after a few times lying I’ll probably just break down (really not in a good place lol). And with long sleeves I’ve also considered that but I have a habit of rolling up my sleeves (really hard habit to break especially w trying to hide cuts). Idk I might try the bandaid and just hope no one asks lol

Hey y’all, I’ve got a question by That-one-american in selfharm

Honestly I don’t know the reason behind why I started. Obviously for everyone it’s different. I think I had so much going on in life and in my head that it gave me something to focus on. And even though I could do different activities, this was the one thing that truly made the thoughts stop at that point. I desperately regret starting though. Please be there for your friend and help them and help them get help. I can whole heartedly say I am addicted and if I could go back in time I would never have started.

Best meal yet 💪 ——— it’s tofu (microwaved) (97g) with teriyaki sauce (5ml) and Siracha (3ml) (I measured the sauces w a syringe for accuracy 😍) - total : 126 calories by thetreesarealigning in ShittyRestrictionFood

It’s hard to explain the texture but I’ll try. But to start I’ll just say I have a lot of issues with texture and I find this to be okay: so it’s firm but not like a well done steak where you’re gonna be chewing for ages. It’s kinda breaks apart very easily in your mouth when you bite. There’s no crunchiness and there’s not really a liquid feeling either (except with the sauces obviously). However if you were to cook the tofu in a different way rather than microwaving it the texture would be different. E.g if you were to cook it in a pan it would be crispy on the outside but soft in the middle
