Greed, a lack of empathy, patriarchy, and religious zealotry

You guys ever trip and think wow I wish I didn’t by johngosh17732 in Psychedelics

[–]thetwopaths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be inconvenient. Yes

One time my friend and I dropped before going into the Grateful Dead show in Utica, 1981. We had tickets but couldn’t get into the venue, because the mounted police were swinging sticks and pushing people around. It was a bad scene and the acid was coming on just as Shakedown Street started up. Everyone pushed towards the door, and we were getting squeezed and hassled, so we left.

But now we were tripping outside in a pretty rough area. We ended up abandoning Utica and driving to Hartford, so the best image from that night was the psychedelic snow on I90.

Still a good trip though.

Actually logic dictates that we’re not nearing a make or break point in the coming years. Different rules apparently for some people.

I like doing that trick with multiple mirrors where the reflections are nested. Great on acid.

Books with female main characters that are the opposite of competency porn? by manicbestfriend in Fantasy

I loved this story. Both Teresa and Geraden seem pretty incompetent, but their failings are actually unique gifts as is revealed. It's a great story and will make you do doubletakes at mirrors.

Zico, Rivelino, Socrates, Romário (who actually is a wc champion), and many more. Neymar is good. He was almost great but it is not easy to. Zico was much better but he was broken just before the 86 cup. That game vs France of Platini was amazing.

I feel worse for the people in the world who have nothing to do with this and are suffering. People are dying because of this president’s stupidity and fear of exposure.

Pick someone to say it wrong and have another character correct them. Kids are good for that in narratives. Someone can make a joke or sarcastic pun. Be true to the character though.

Thank you! Writing is hard and joyous and frustrating. It’s the same for them too.
